We are frequently asked why our tours no longer include beer samples, and the reason why is that we listened to the feedback from our customers.

Here is what we have learned:

There is not a "one size fits all" for every brewery tour group. There isn't even a set amount of beer that works at the individual level. So how can it be an "all-inclusive tour" if not everyone gets the amount of beer that they want? It can't be.

We've had plenty of people on our brewery tours who either don't care much for beer or simply don't drink alcohol! Some of our guests are just there to hang with their friends; we totally get and respect that. Why should they have to pay for something they don't like or don't want? So we eliminated the beer samples and lowered our prices accordingly, which seems fair to everybody.

This model allows everyone to choose how much or how little beer they want at each stop. So if you love a particular brewery, buy and sample all the beer you want! If a brewery stop isn't your favorite, then maybe nurse a beer until it's time to leave for the next one.

If you are not a beer drinker, try a cider or seltzer or enjoy a glass of wine.

If you don't drink at all, we will ensure you have a great time and enjoy hanging out with your friends in some of Austin's best breweries. Our goal is to provide an enjoyable experience for all of our guests, whether they are partaking in the beer experience or not.

About ATX Beer Bus
Going to breweries and enjoying great beers is just what I do. I've been doing it for years. I got so excited about it that I started brewing my own beer. Then I got even more excited about it and became a Certified Cicerone®. If you don't know what that is, a Cicerone® is to beer what a Sommelier is to wine. So, a certified beer geek? Yes! However, beer doesn't have to be stuffy, snobby, hipsterish or intimidating. It's beer! It's meant to be fun, and learning about it is not only fun but can lead you to a deeper enjoyment of the world's oldest ice breaker. This is exactly what I set out to do when I launched ATX Beer Bus. I want to share my knowledge of and excitement for craft beer with each and every one of you!
