James Lipari is Austin’s only certified Cicerone® tour guide — the beer equivalent of a Master Sommelier. He’s also a professional beer competition judge, most recently at the US Open Beer Championships, and an active member of the Texas Craft Brewers Guild.
On every tour, that expertise shows up in the details: the breweries he selects, the stories behind each pour, and the way he makes the experience feel personal whether you’re a first-time craft beer drinker or someone who already knows their IBUs.
This isn’t a bus with a driver who happens to know a few breweries. It’s a guided experience built by someone who has spent years earning a place inside Austin’s craft beer scene.

I came to James very last minute looking for a fun team building event. He quickly jumped into action and put together a fun agenda for our team, including borrowing some cornhole boards so we could do a tournament. Our attendees really enjoyed the breweries James picked and his attention to detail and he made himself available throughout the whole time to answer questions and provide recommendations.
